Privacy Policy

The Social Media Speakers Bureau is run by AAA Internet Brands, LLC. This page explains how we handle information on socialmediaspeakersbureau.com, including the free tools.

What you give us

The contact form. If you enquire about booking a speaker, we collect your name, email, organization, and the event details you share, so we can respond and help with the booking.

What you type into the tools. The speaker fee calculator and speech topic generator record what you enter, such as event type, format, audience size, and topic, so we can see which tools are useful and what organizers are planning. If you give an email to receive the result, it is stored with that submission and added to our mailing list, where the form says so.

Email opens and clicks. When you read one of our emails, it contains a small tracking image and its links pass through our server, so we can see whether you opened it and which links you clicked. These records are tied to your subscriber profile, and we use them to see which topics are useful, to tidy the list by removing addresses that never open, and to spot delivery problems. Open counts are rough, since many mail apps load or block images on their own, and you can block the tracking image by turning off remote images. We keep these records while you are subscribed and delete them when you unsubscribe and ask us to erase your data.

How we use it, and what you agree to

By submitting the contact form, using a tool, or joining the mailing list, you agree that we may use the information you give us for marketing, sales, and contacting you. In practice that means responding to your enquiry, following up about booking a speaker, sending you relevant emails and offers, sharing what you submitted with the speaker you asked about, and improving the site and the tools.

We do not sell your personal information for money. You can opt out of marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe link, or ask us to stop contacting you entirely through the contact form. Opting out of marketing does not stop us replying to an enquiry you sent us.

What we collect automatically

Analytics. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to see which pages and tools get used. Microsoft Clarity also records anonymized session replays, meaning a playback of mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling on a page. It is not linked to your name or email.

Approximate location. When you use a tool or submit a form, we record the country, state or region, and timezone your connection resolves to. We do not collect your city or coordinates, and we do not store your IP address.

Ad pixels. We use the Meta Pixel and the Reddit Pixel. They tell Meta and Reddit that a browser visited this site and which pages it viewed. We use this to measure our ads on Facebook, Instagram, and Reddit, to show our ads again to past visitors, and to let Meta and Reddit find people with similar interests. Meta and Reddit may link these visits to your account with them, under their own privacy policies. We never send them your name, email, or anything you type into the site.

Cookies

We do not set our own tracking cookies. These services set their own:

• Google Analytics (_ga): measures traffic.
• Microsoft Clarity (_clck, _clsk): measures traffic and records session replays.
• Meta (_fbp, _fbc): measures our ads and builds ad audiences. Up to 90 days.
• Reddit (_rdt_uuid, _rdt_cid): measures our ads and builds ad audiences. Up to 90 days.

You can block or delete these in your browser settings and the site will still work.

The AI tools

The topic generator and the written summary in the fee calculator send what you enter to Anthropic’s Claude API to produce a result. Fee estimates are estimates based on public ranges, not quotes, and not financial advice.

Speaker listings

Our directory profiles cover public professional information about speakers, such as their topics, background, and public booking details. If you are listed and want your profile changed or removed, contact us and we will handle it.

Who else handles your information

We use Vercel for hosting, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for analytics, Meta and Reddit for advertising, Anthropic’s Claude API for the AI tools, Google Firebase for stored submissions, Resend to email ourselves when you submit a form, and our own self-hosted Listmonk and PocketBase servers for mailing list subscribers and form submissions.

We do not sell your information for money.The Meta and Reddit pixels described above count as “sharing” for targeted advertising under some US state privacy laws, such as California’s. You can opt out of that below.

How long we keep it

Mailing list subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Booking enquiries and tool submissions are kept while they are useful for running the business and the site. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from any email using the link in it. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will. If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to object to how we process your information and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Use the contact form and tell us what you want done.

Opt out of ad pixels

In the UK and EU, the ad pixels load only if you accept cookies in the banner. Everywhere else, they load unless you opt out. We honor Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends that signal, the ad pixels never load. You can also turn them off on this browser here:

Meta and Reddit also let you control ads in your account settings with them.

Children

This site is intended for event organizers and other adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
